inc.   ·  · · · Technical alterations reserved (Date 1/99) Compressed air is led through the inlet of the dryer (J) and across the prefilter (3). At this stage, the air is cleaned from particles and condensate. The conden- sate is removed via the condensate drain (11). Via the lower shuttle valve (9), the air is led into the adsorption vessel (1), in which the air is dried down to the required dewpoint. Via the upper shuttle valve (9), the air gets into an afterfilter (4), in which possibly released particles from the desiccant bed are retained. Via the outlet (O), the clean and dry air is getting into the compressed air network and to the point of use. While one vessel is in the drying phase (adsorption), the other vessel is being dried again (regeneration). A par- tial stream of dried air is expanded to at- mospheric pressure via an orifice plate (6) and led across the desiccant bed for regeneration and via a solenoid valve (5) and a silencer (7) to atmosphere. ultrapac HED/ALD/MSD (type 0005 to 1000) Complete purification package with heatless adsorption dryer, pre, afterfilter and level-controlled electronic condensate drain. ultrapac HED/ALD/MSD * related to 14.7 psi (abs) and 68 °F at intake of compressor and 100 psig and 100 °F inlet temperature ultrapac Volume flow Regeneration Volume flow Pressure loss Prefilter HED/ALD/ in air losses (average) out (min.) initial (Afterfilter) MSD cfm* cfm cfm psi MF (PE) HED ALD MSD HED ALD MSD 0005 3 0.42 0.45 0.59 2.43 2.41 2.24 0.72 03/05 0010 5 0.7 0.75 1.18 4.80 4.76 4.41 0.87 03/05 0015 10 1.4 1.5 1.76 7.24 7.18 6.65 1.30 03/05 0025 15 2.1 2.25 2.94 12.04 11.94 11.06 1.30 04/10 0035 20 2.8 3 4.12 16.84 16.71 15.47 1.45 04/10 0050 30 4.2 4.5 5.88 24.01 23.82 22.06 1.30 05/20 0080 50 7 7.5 9.41 38.42 38.11 35.29 1.59 05/20 0100 60 8.4 9 11.76 48.03 47.64 44.12 1.74 05/25 0150 85 11.9 12.75 17.65 72.36 71.78 66.47 2.46 05/25 0225 125 17.5 18.75 26.47 108.22 107.36 99.41 1.81 07/30 0300 175 24.5 26.25 35.29 144.08 142.93 132.35 2.31 07/30 0375 200 28 30 44.12 179.94 178.50 165.29 2.75 07/30 0550 300 42 45 64.71 264.47 262.36 242.94 2.60 10/30 0650 400 56 60 76.47 312.50 310.00 287.06 3.18 10/30 0850 500 70 75 100.00 408.55 405.29 375.29 3.76 15/30 1000 600 84 90 117.65 480.27 476.43 441.18 2.60 20/30
