inc.   ·  · · · Technical alterations reserved (Date 1/99) Compressed air is led through the inlet of the dryer (J) and across the prefilter (12). At this stage, the air is cleaned from par- ticles and condensate. The condensate is removed via the condensate drain (14). Via a solenoid valve (3), the air is is led into the adsorption vessel (1), in which the air is dried down to the required pres- sure dewpoint. Via a non-return valve (7), the air gets into an afterfilter (13), in which possibly released particles from the desiccant are retained. Via the outlet (O), the clean and dry air is getting into the compressed air network and to the point of use. While one vessel is in the drying phase (adsorption), the other vessel is being dried again (regeneration). A partial stream of dried air expanded to atmospheric pres- sure via an orifice plate (8) and led across the desiccant bed for regeneration and via a solenoid valve (5) and a silencer (9) to atmosphere. ultratrockner high pressure dryer HLP-MSD 0006 to 0360, PN 600 psig Complete purification package with heatless adsorption dryer, pre-, afterfilter and condensate drain HLP Volume flow Regeneration Volume flow Pressure loss Prefilter 600 psig in air losses (average) (min.) initial (Afterfilter) cfm* cfm cfm psi MF (PE) 0006 9 0.71 10.76 5.49 03/05 0009 14 1.06 16.12 6.22 03/05 0018 28 2.12 32.29 7.95 03/05 0027 42 3.18 48.41 6.07 04/20 0036 56 4.24 64.53 6.80 04/20 0054 84 6.35 96.82 6.51 04/20 0072 112 8.47 129.06 7.37 05/20 0108 170 12.71 193.59 7.52 05/25 0144 224 16.94 258.18 8.24 05/25 0180 280 21.18 322.71 9.69 05/25 0288 448 33.88 516.29 8.68 07/30 0360 560 42.35 645.35 9.69 07/30 high pressure adsorption dryer HLP-MSD (Pic. as pressure stage PN 1000 psig) * related to 14.7 psi (abs) and 68 °F at intake of compressor at max. pressure and 100 °F inlet temperature into dryer
